How to become a TESDA Certified Computer Technician
You might wonder what is this certification all about especially if you are a 4 or 5-year course graduates of any computer related courses. Actually this TESDA exam is given to every students who finished their two-year course in a vocational school. This is to test their competency in their field of education such as Computer Hardware Servicing, Computer Programming, PC Operations and other 2-year courses. Graduates of this courses are mandated or obligated to take the exam. This exam is the counterpart of the board exam for degree courses.

GET YOUR COLLEGE EDUCATION - For you to be allowed to take the exam you should be a graduate of 2 or 4-year or up course. Undergraduates who finished at least 72 units in college are allowed to get the exam as long as they enroll in a TESDA registered training centers that offer short courses Computer Troubleshooting and repair and PC Networking and Administration.
ATTEND IT TRAINING - IT Training for PC Repair and PC Networking will provide the needed skills to pass the exam. If you are fresh graduates of a 2-year Computer Technology course, you can directly take the exam but if you feel like your not ready yet dont even think abot it you will surely fail. For graduates of a Bachelors degree courses such as COmputer Science, Infomation Technoloogy, computer engineering and others. It will be a good idea to refresh your skills because in college there are no extensive hands on classes in PC Repair and PC Networking.
LOOK FOR A COMPUTER TECHNICIAN JOB OR RENDER OJT IN COMPUTER COMPANIES - Put on to practice all the skills you acquired so that you will not forget all that you have learned. Unfortunately you can not take the exam the tesda requirement is for you to finish your 2 or 4 year course before you are allowed to get the TESDA Assessment exam. But if you were able to get 72units in college and took our training then you can take the exam.

Regular sched namin is from Monday to friday 9-5pm, both manila and makati site. The Training fee for CHS NCII- the combination of troubleshooting and networking course is 10500 pesos in cash basis.June 21 is open for enrollment, at least 3 students is enrolled.

I would just like to inquire. My friend is a graduate of Computer Technician in Cagayan de Oro. They won't be able to get their diploma's unless they took the TESDA Computer Technician Examination. He already took the first 2 examination and passed but unfortunately he was informed very late for the third and last examination and was not able to make it.
Now, he's already here in Manila and he wanted to finish the examination so he can get his diploma. he just needs the certificate from tesda and send it to his school in Cagayan.
Is it still possible to continue taking the examination here in Manila? What are the requirements?
Also, should he take the last part of the exam only or should he retake the 1st 2 leg of the exam as well?

I think experience plays a lot in order to pass. however, kung wala talagang experience sa troubleshooting eh di mag study.. wag na yung mga 2 year courses, even yung short term ok na din like mga 3 month trianing and dagdagan nyo lang ng ibang learnings sa blogs like sa http://technisize.com , symbianize.com, or kahit anong blogs or forums. i.update ko sa inyu pag na download ko na lahat yung a+ videos at i-share ko dito. dami kong natutunan dun. :-)

It's up to you if you want to take the A+ Certification Exam. The difference between the two is that for A+ certification is for International Certificate and for TESDA NCII certificate is a National Certificate.
