It was really surprising when the world’s most popular social networking site change its profile face last Sunday, which includes your important relationships, biography, work experience, pictures, and educational attainment. Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the launching of the new profile makeup as interviewed by a television program. This new profile look allows its users to maintain Facebook’s simplified and modest look while you can do most of the things that are important to your everyday living. The left side of the webpage has links which now replaces the tabs at the top of each profile page.

Last October, it was announced that the new face of Facebook will have much easier options and links to access the friendship pages which now brings into a single page all interesting parts like shared interest, tagged pictures you and your friends shared, common and specific friends. It’s now easier to access the pages which links to Friendship by clicking the See Friendship link located at the right side of the page after visiting your friend’s profile page. But wait! Before you can see the new features of Facebook’s new profile makeup, it has to be activated. You may still see the old profile layout if you’re not going to activate it in the first place and definitely you’ll stay in the older layout of the page.

You can immediately noticed at the rear top of the page is an easier way to access the complete information of the Facebook user. On that part you may see the birth date, company name and the job description, the hometown and where you live, you’re spoken languages, and the school you came from and the course you took. But these profile information can be changed or deleted using the button located on the top right side of the page called Edit Profile.

Right under your main information line are the tagged photos of 5 thumbnail strips which are stored in your profile since the old makeup. You can also edit those tagged pictures underneath by choosing a photo, and to hide it you may need to click x button located on the top right side of the section, then a new picture will take the place of the hidden one. By clicking the thumbnail, the system will link you to the Photos corner of the site for you to see from whom or where the picture came.  To know more about new layout features of Facebook, you may go and visit your account now.

Whew! It is given that those Facebook fanatics really experienced a little bit shocking situation when they come to see the new profile makeup on the first time after so many years of seeing it the same way as it was. For those people who are offline and still haven’t got a chance to see and experience the remarkable changes the Facebook company done on its webpage, well it’s now your time to have a short visit on your account to distinguish the difference between the old and the new profile pages and surely you’ll discover a whole lot of new things which are not present from the Facebook old layout.
