Obtaining any IT certifications without any firm purposes would mislead to disappointment or even frustrations. This eventually gives wrong notion to other aspirants i.e. certification is the assurance to achieve success. Well, If this is the primary reason many try to acquire at least one, I believe this certification does not live up to their expectations. Why?    There is no doubt that commitment and hard work still the first step to success. However I am not saying certification doesn’t do anything to success. Of course it does but not the last recourse. What count most is your efficiency and effectiveness in doing your jobs. Your certification is just one of the plus factors for success and it just gives you the opportunity to experience it.

If you try to widen your horizon, you will realize that our world is more complex that the certification. There are other things more to reckon such as broadening the knowledge and skills and experience of Information technology as well as your work ethics and social relationship. You can employ these skills in problem-solving or logical thinking in line with you job.

If you think certification brings you a great success, well, you have to live up to the expectations of your employer for he expected you so much not only your technical skills but more than that. Employers are looking for candidates not only those who are certification-holder but those who are committed, skilled and experienced, along with work ethics and professionalism more than education or certification.

If you are decided to obtain certification, and take the risk of spending your time, money and effort, first understand the value of it. Testing your knowledge and skills shows your deepest knowledge of your field. You should not take any certification programs without realistic view of it. Otherwise, you regret at the end. As a matter of fact, this is called HOWLER! Widen your perspective of success before you can say that certification is a goldmine, ticket to success and so on..
