Windows Server 2008 R2 with service pack 1 can be downloaded at Microsoft's website. You can download the operating system free of charge. You can download the Evaluation copy and used it for 180 days.

Before you can download the software you need to sign up and register for Microsoft Windows Live account.

You can use Windows Server 2008 Trial version to evaluate and see if it met all the requirements needed for your company's software.

If you want to get certified for Microsoft Certifications such as MCITP and MCSE. You can use the evaluation copy of Windows Server 2008. You can install it to your computer and practice installing and administering a Windows Server 2008  Network but of course you only have 180 days to use it in your preparation for the certification exam.

But if you think that 180 days is not enough for you to be fully prepared for the exam you can reset the Evaluation period by starting back to zero i mean you have to format again your computer and reinstall again the evaluation copy of Windows Server 2008.

To download the Windows Server 2008 R2 with Service pack click this link Download Now and follow the instructions thereafter.
