4. What are your strengths? In this question, strength means the trait that makes you a reliable asset for a company. If this question is asked to you, mention your traits that make you a great choice for the job. Among of the most likable traits are punctuality, industriousness, initiative, cooperative, patience, perseverance, and love and dedication for work. However, it’s not enough to claim a strength. You should state how you developed it, and also how it had help in your previous endeavors.
5. What are your weaknesses? This is one of the most difficult questions encountered by applicants. It’s not easy to admit a weakness when you need to impress your employers. Even if you decide to state one, you’d surely mess up your head thinking of a tolerable weakness. If you’re not prepared for this question, most probably you’d end up nervous and tongue tied. On the other hand, most people don’t know that answering this question is easy. Just be honest. I, myself admitted that I’m not so much of a team player when this same question was asked to me. However, I contradicted it by mentioning how I cope with my weakness using my initiative at work. You can also be sincere with your answer. Your employer would definitely appreciate it as long as he knows you’re doing something to make up with it.
6. What was the hardest challenge you’ve ever encountered and what did you do to overcome it? Did you remember the last time you became so proud of yourself solving a hard problem? Tell about it if you encounter this question. Your brightness will naturally show knowing your being honest to yourself that you’re happy with what you did.
7. What was your biggest mistake in your career and how did you fixed it? Yes, this same question asked to Ms. Universe- Fourth Runner-Up, Venus Raj is one of the most common questions asked during a job interview. And like Venus, you’d find yourself paralyzed thinking of the most proper answer. However, there’s no correct answer to this question. We all commit mistake. But what important is, you’d manage to explain how you make up with the mistake and ensure it won’t happen again. In the end, what matters most is your willingness to improve and be better at work.
