5. Get updated with what’s latest. Let’s admit it. Pioneers get always the first seat. Hence, get yourself updated of the latest method, technology, or innovation in your career. Never go out of style. Open yourself to development and go with the “evolution” flow. Subscribe to the most credible bloggers in your field. Always visit online forums covering your career. If you do this, you’ll become more successful in leading your chosen online career.

6. Gather regular clients. If you want a regular income, gather regular clients. Hence, maintain a good working relationship with every client or employer you encounter. Give them your best work and be punctual in submitting your products. Treat them like kings and queens and you’ll never go wrong. They will surely get back to you if you’re giving them a superb service.

7. Gather reliable networks. Using the social networking websites, it’s easy to connect with people and gain a good network from them. Networking is important especially if you’re looking for credible clients or subcontractor. It is always best to have people you personally meet as networks. Considering better rapport with them, they’ll most likely give you favor than people you never meet. However, if you have a constant and good communication with people you only meet online, you can also ask favor from them in referring you to new clients.

8. Maintain your own blog or forum. The best way to earn publicity online is through blogging. Post informational articles on topics focusing on your niche. Be of help to others by teaching your target clients what they need to know in your industry. Make your blog a one stop site for people who seek your services. To make the most of it. Make your blog interactive as much as possible. Praise and thank also the people who participate on your forums and blogs.  Answer their queries and comments especially those under help topics. Urge people to take action in buying your services in a neat way. Show that you’re the best person for the job.

9. Have your own online resume. Employers and clients always seek credentials. With the risk of receiving viruses and malwares, they immediately turn down application letters with attachments. If you want to show a comprehensive resume to your clients and employers, create an online resume. Boast your qualifications, education and training, and job experiences Put also validated testimonials of your clients, previous employers, and/or teachers. You can also post some of the best works you’ve done online as samples. Next>>>
