As I’ve said in my previous post, blogging serves relevant purposes. And to serve its purpose more effectively, it is important that you know what are the elements needed for a winning blog.

Easy to Access. First thing’s first. Your effort would end to nothing if your target readers are having a hard time going to your website. Once you’ve published your blog, check it personally. Go to your website and inspect it for errors. Click each link to see if each of them is working properly as expected. It would also help if your website name is easy to memorize for your readers. Figure out a name that is catchy and relevant to the kind of blog you want to publish.

Good Formatting. This means that a blog should have its elements located where it is needed and where it is expected. A plain example of this: the subscription form is ought to be found near the header of the website… clearly, because it is readily viewed. You wouldn’t want an added follower miss your email list just because your subscription form is hard to find. It is also ideal to have subscription button and sharing button at the end of each post, so cheered readers can readily push them on your favor.

Winning Content. Like everybody says, “Content is the king”. Even if you got nice formatting, your blog would only be an added junk to the World Wide Web if it’s content is garbage. To achieve a winning content, you’ll need to post ideas and thoughts that are worth readable by your target readers. These articles should either make them smile, inspire, teach, or make them aware of relevant issues in your chosen niche. If you got a winning content, you’re definite off to online stardom.

Interactive. We all love getting feedback. Whether they are for query, clarification, or cheering praise, comments are clear sign of a blog’s success, unless, you want your blog for your eyes only. Oftentimes as well, interested readers won’t feel satisfied until they impart their own piece. Give them all the freedom to do so. Add a variety of sharing buttons from social networking and sharing sites aside from the existing field for comments, so they won’t have any reason to skip sharing whenever you’ve triumphed in sparking their interest.

The article ends here, giving way to my cue: Do you have other characteristics in mind that is typical to all winning blog? We’d definitely love to hear them out!
