Firsthand review for Microsoft's Windows 10

It's been almost two weeks already since Microsoft released their latest operating system which is Windows 10 and as we all know, many are excited to download it for their personal computers. Microsoft of course was not able to finish all the updates for users in a single day and that it why it took a while before all who reserved a copy was able to download and upgrade their computers.

Personally, I was part of those users who were able to reserve a copy for its release but it was only the other day that I was able to download and install it. Now that I have already experienced the new OS, I will now be giving my personal review of some of its features.

I am currently using the Home edition version of Windows 10 and from my observation; they have redesigned it for it to feel and look new. If you will be using it for the first time, there is a big possibility that you'll be a bit confused due to its new look especially if you have been using Windows 7 or 8 for a while already.

We are all aware that the famous start button is... now back and if you will notice, the current design looks like the combination of Windows 7 and Windows 8. They have adapted the old design which will display the programs that are available and the tiles which can be seen on Windows 8. One feature that they have also added is that you can now right click the start button which allows you to instantly view some of the settings and also the ability to shut down, restart and put your computer to sleep. Another feature that they have improved is the preview when switching tabs or windows. Now, the previews for the current tabs that are open are now bigger which allows you to have a better view.

I have been using Windows for quite a while now and many of you might agree with me that using command prompt is really hard especially if you need to type a bunch of commands. In Windows 10, they have already upgraded the command prompt and you can now copy and paste commands which are really a big help especially for IT professionals. I am personally using the said command and it really helped a lot.

Again, this review is only few of the many new features of Windows 10. I am still exploring the said OS and might write another review of it soon.
