Getting the Microsoft Certification. Things to know to become Microsoft Certified

Becoming Microsoft Certified needs dedication and discipline combining this two will undoubtedly make you become one of those IT professionals who excel in their field of specialization.

Before you embark on getting yourself certified. I will give you some things you need to know to become a Certified Microsoft Professional.

Decide what Certification Track you will get

You can choose MCITP: Server Administrator ceifications or MCITP:  Enterprise Administrator certification. You can start by getting the MCITP Server Administrator this certification will develop your skills to manage daily operations of Windows Server 2008.

Get the right IT Training Provider for you

There are alot of training providers out there that offer hands on training programs for IT certifications choose the one that has the credibility and proven techniques in delivering the most successful Microsoft certification training. Here are some of the things  you should look at a Training provider;

1. Training Curriculum
- Make sure that all the objectives in the Microsoft certification Exam for your training is there. Look at the course syllabus. Ensure that all topics mentioned in the curriculum will be discussed and demonstrated in actual training environment.

2. IT Trainers - To pass your Microsoft certification exam. You should be mentored and trained by a microsoft certified instructors because this trainers already have the experience in taking the exam he can share and give tips to all his students all the essential methods and techniques to become certified.

3. Training Facilities - Ensure that your training providers have decent  computer facilities for the training. Slow computers will definitely affect your training due to the delay caused by the operation of the computers. Computer with 1 gig or more memory is recommended and a procecessor speed of 2ghz or higher.

4. Cost
- Quality and Affordability is also one of the things you should consider in choosing your training provider. There are others who offer their training at a very low cost but it will also compromise your learning and the chances of your passing of the certification exam. There are also others who offer their training cost at a gigantic price where only those big companies can afford to pay. If you find one like this chances are this are the training providers who are using official Microsoft curriculums.

If you find one who is offering a high priced training courses but are not using official microsoft curriculums. Find out why they offer such high priced training for the course. They might be in to something :)  

5. On Site Testing Facility - Look for Training Providers who are Authorized to conduct Microsoft Certification Exams because it will give you the benefit of taking your exam right after your training You dont have to worry finding your testing provider for your Microsoft Exams. All registration and Exam scheduling will be made by your training provider
