Most of you might already saw what a Galaxy tab looks like. This tab was produced by Samsung, one of the largest cell phone companies in the world. They released the Galaxy Tab last September 2010.

After a while, Samsung decided to release the upgraded version of the Galaxy Tab which is the Galaxy Tab 10.1 while include features like:

-          10.1 TFT-LCD

-          1GB ram

-          WIFI

-          Bluetooth

-          3.2 mp rear camera and 1.3 mp front camera

-          GPRS

-          Android 3.0 (Honeycomb)

The upgraded version was released last June 2011. Compared to the older version, it has a bigger screen, a faster processor and the latest operating system from Android which is the Honeycomb. With the upgraded version, you can move faster than before due to its faster processor. This device is also capable of downloading applications and games.

This product is definitely one of the top competitors of Apple’s newest Ipad 2.  If we’ll be comparing the two, they have the same processors and almost the same price but galaxy is lighter and thinner. Galaxy tab also has a better display compared to the Ipad 2. For the camera, Galaxy still beats the Ipad 2 because of its 3mp rear camera and 2 mp front cameras while the Ipad 2 only has a 0.92 mp rear camera and a VGA front camera. Ipad 2 also doesn’t support flash playback on its device which makes Galaxy Tab better. If we’ll be talking about the operating system of the two products, Ipad 2 clearly wins because of its user friend iOS interface.

The said products are two of the most talked about devices when it comes to tablets but according to most reviews, the Galaxy Tab wins on most features though apple products are really easy to use.
