Short Course On Active Server Pages Web Programming

If you want to enroll for a 30-hour Active Server Pages (ASP) - Web Programming course, you should already have an evaluation or admission test and a solid interest in programming. The training module demonstrates a comprehensive class that analyzes interaction for both Web sites and databases, Active Server Pages programming utilization, access on-line, which intranets usually used.

The process of training starts with Dreamweaver utilization for Web site design; using Personal Web Server for creating Active Server Application; Database Access Component usage; using Internet Information Services for creating Active Server Application; VBScript & JavaScript design; and cookies & Cascading Style Sheet design.

There are four topics covered on this training beginning with Hyper Text Markup Language and Dreamweaver which includes Basic Structure followed by document for Hyper Text Markup Language then inside the body; Hyper Text Markup Language file creation; Hyper Text Markup Language document parts; special characters insertion; spacing control; new paragraph starting; text formatting; rule or horizontal line adding; image insertion; graphics scaling; lists; numbered list creation; unnumbered list creation; description list creation; hyperlinks; another page linking; anchor definition; and anchor linking.

Second topic is about Server Page which is active which discussion starts with advantages and disadvantages followed by delimiters script then Internet Information Services active server application creation; personal Web server used for active server application creation; and database access component usage.

The third discussion centers on JavaScript & VBScript including client-side advantages followed by client-side scripting disadvantages then VBScript nuts And bolts; comments of VBScript; types of data; variables; constants; operators; Hyper Text Markup Language forms using VBScript; and handling events.

The concluding topic tackles Cookies and Cascading Style Sheet that begins with style with class followed by using Cascading Style Sheet for font changing then ID checking; links which are distinguished; cookie reading; cookies showing; cookie counter usage; and multiple cookies handling
