The course topic coverage starts with the overview of Wide Area Networking; terms and types of connection of Wide Area Networking; leased lines which are dedicated; connections which are circuit switched for basic rate interface of Integrated Services Digital Network and modem; packet switched networks; configuration of High-Level Data Link Control, Link Control Protocol, protocols of Wide Area Networking; serial standards, and Point-to-Point Protocol; authentication of Challenge-Handshake Authentication Protocol, Password Authentication Protocol, and Point-to-Point Protocol; configuration and verification of Point-to-Point Protocol; components and standards of Integrated Services Digital Network; switch types, function and reference of Integrated Services Digital Network; Integrated Services Digital Network Basic Rate Interface dial-on-demand routing and configuration; Double Data Rate legacy configuration and verification, and operation of Integrated Services Digital Network; terminology, signaling, configuration, and verification of Frame Relay; LMI and Address Resolution Protocol inverse; sub-interfaces and its configuration; switching of layer 2; and many more relevant topics.
