Have you heard about remote access? It is a technology that was used since Windows XP has develop this technology using a graphical user interface to help other users at the other end of the network computer. Remote access uses the Remote Desktop technology to allow assistance to the user that are also using Windows platform.  However, configuring remote access is also a hard task to do for novice who is having trouble with their computer. Since we assume that the user at the other end is somewhat not a tech-savvy.

How does remote access works?Undecided

Remote access works by sending images and gathering hardware resources from the local computer that belongs to your network. Since remote access is very unsafe, the default settings for this should be turned off. Using the correct network address and proper configuration, a computer may access the other computer and have the ability to manipulate its hardware and application with the administrator's security privileges. Like doing a remote access on the local network, the internet also gathers live images from the computer while manipulating its hardware.

In TeamViewer, configuring remote access made easy. It's very simple to use, you don't have to worry about firewalls and setting up IP Address. It was developed more physically compressed and less configuration that even a 10-year old boy can execute the program without a hassle. It's totally free (for non-commercial) , fast to download with only 2.54MB file size, easy to deploy, very convenient  and practical to use, it's not also going to slow down your system, and most of all it's very secure.

If you want to get help or give a technical support from other user.  First, you must download the latest version of the program from their website www.teamviewer.com, locate the download button that says "start full version" and then start downloading. Second, after downloading the program, run the executable file (TeamViewer_Setup.exe). When the setup runs, it will prompt you with 2 choices:

1. Install: Make an Installation procedure to your computer. Follow the steps to finish the installation. When it's done, double-click the program from the desktop shortcut and then you're ready to begin.

2. Run: Just let the program run to your computer instantly. This "run" option dramatically increases the ability of the software easier to use. When the program starts to run, you're now ready to begin. No more installation needed! This is much simpler than the first one. It's configuration free; giving you the ability to make a quick session.

Both options have almost the same functionality. The first one is just to configure TeamViewer permanently to your computer. It also has an option to set TeamViewer to run every time your Windows starts.

Now that you're running the TeamViewer, you can either wait or create new session.

• Waiting for session - this is where you get hooked or accessed by the other computer that has a TeamViewer. All you have to do is give them  your ID and Password to gain access to your computer.

• Create new session - this is where you access the other computer that has a TeamViewer. Both computers should have the software running to make a session.

Every time you start the program you'll notice that your current password is always changing randomly. This feature allows the software to be more secure and safe. For installed TeamViewer, you can also set a static password by clicking the "configure permanent access to this computer" located at the bottom of the given password.

Setting this up to run automatically when windows starts is the best solution for establishing a remote connection if you're far away from your other computer.

Note: You can't see the changes of the password that shows in the main window. Don't worry it's still there.

TeamViewer is compatible with all versions of Windows OS's, from Windows 98 up to Windows 7 and also for MAC OS. But not for mobile devices and Linux or Unix.
