If you want to call your friends, you don’t need to memorize their number.  Once their contact details were saved, you simply type their name and call.  Very easy!

3. Facebook integration

With Skype 5.3, you can easily view updates from your friends in Facebook.  You can easily send instant message or even chat with them in real time.  This is the main feature of this version.

4. Updated and new emoticons

Aren’t satisfied with the previous emoticons??!! Well, Skype 5.3 offers variety of new emoticons to satisfy your needs.  Some of these are even animated to add fun while chatting with your friends.

5. Group Video for Skype premium account

If you subscribe for premium account, one of the best features you can get is video group chat.  If you find it difficult to have video call through your mobile, then do it with Skype whether you are at home or in a travel.  No time to miss your love one since you can talk and see them online.

Also, Skype offers call and text services to mobile phones at an affordable price.  It makes connection possible in real time without spending much.
